Abstract
4 families suffering from hidrotic ectodermal dysplasia (HED) are reported. They belong to the tricho-onychotic subgroup, type Clouston. The trichologic investigations showed a disturbance of the cuticular pattern, being a constant feature of this HED-subgroup.
